E-Z Lok Inserts for Wood

Brass E-Z Lok Inserts for Wood

External knife threads provide superior holding power in hard and soft woods, particle board and all wood products. Use wherever field assembly or disassembly could lead to thread erosion or stripping. The long pilot ensures straight driving into a drilled hole. Install with screwdriver, bolt and nut, tapping head, or E-Z LOK driving tool.




1. Drill a hole using size chart in table.	2. Thread insert into hole using screwdriver or E-Z LOK drive tool. Varnish may be used as lubricant to facilitate insertion. Install 1/16" to 1/8" below surface for optimum pull out strength.	3. Position the attaching part and install screw or bolt. Knife thread inserts can be installed using a screwdriver, bolt and jam nut, or an E-Z LOK drive tool.
