FAQ

Can I lift with a bent eye bolt?
No. Bent (formed) eye bolts are for light duty and straight line pulls only. For lifting, use a forged shouldered lifting eye bolt rated for the load.

Should I use 18-8 or 316 stainless?
18-8 is fine for most outdoor and wet jobs. 316 stainless adds molybdenum for better resistance to salt water, chlorides and many chemicals, so it is the better choice for boats, docks, pools and coastal sites. Contact us for 316 stainless.
