Left Hand Nuts - (USS) Coarse Thread

Left Hand Nuts - (USS) Coarse Thread

Left hand nuts tighten counterclockwise and loosen clockwise, which is the opposite of standard nuts. They are used on rotating parts where a normal right hand nut would work loose, and on turnbuckles that need one right hand and one left hand thread. We stock Grade 5 plain steel left hand hex nuts in USS coarse thread from 1/4"-20 through 1-1/2"-6. Grade 2 and Grade 8, plain or plated, are available on request.
