FAQ

What is an ACME thread?
ACME is a trapezoidal thread with a 29 degree thread angle. It is stronger and wears better than a standard V thread under repeated motion, which is why it is used for lead screws, jacks, vises and clamps. Class 2G is the general purpose fit.

What nut fits ACME threaded rod?
An ACME nut with the same diameter and threads per inch. Standard hex nuts will not fit.
