FAQ

What size cotter pin do I need?
The pin size is its nominal diameter. Choose the largest pin that fits the hole, and a length that leaves enough leg to bend around the bolt or shaft.

How do I install a cotter pin?
Push the pin through the hole, then bend the longer leg back over the end of the bolt or around the shaft. Use a new pin each time; bent pins lose strength.
