Alloy steel socket set screws with a cup point, in SAE fine (UNF) thread from #0-80 to 3/4"-16, in lengths from 1/16" to 3". These headless screws have a hex socket and a hollow cup point that digs in to lock pulleys, collars, gears and knobs onto shafts. They are made to ASTM F912 with a black oxide finish. What does a cup point set screw do?
