FAQ
Square head or socket set screw?
A square head set screw sticks out above the part and is tightened with a wrench, so it can be tightened harder and is easy to see and adjust. A socket set screw sits flush or below the surface.
What wrench fits a square head set screw?
The width across the flats of the head equals the screw diameter, so a 1/2" set screw takes a 1/2" wrench.
Will square head set screws rust?
They have a plain finish with no plating, so keep them oiled. They are not for outdoor or wet use.
