FAQ
Why a wafer head?
The large, thin head sits nearly flush with the wood and spreads the load, so the screw won't pull through plywood or composite board.
What is a self drilling (Tek) screw?
A self drilling screw has a drill bit point, so it drills, taps and fastens in one step with no pilot hole. The point number tells you how thick a metal it can drill: the higher the number, the thicker the metal.
