Sleeve Anchors are fully assembled and ready to use
Sleeve anchor bolts may be used in Solid Concrete, Block, Brick or Mortar Joint
The hole diameter required is the same as the diameter of the Sleeve Anchor being used

1. Drill the hole perpendicular to the work surface. To assure full holding power, do not ream the hole or allow the drill to wobble. Drill the hole at least 1 anchor diameter deeper than the calculated embedment depth, but not closer than two anchor diameters to the bottom surface of the concrete. Through drilling is allowed when using sleeve anchors in hollow concrete block.
2. Clean the hole using compressed air and a nylon brush. A clean hole is necessary for proper performance.
3. Drive anchor through the fixture into the hole making sure the nut, or head, rests solidly against the fixture. Be sure the anchor is set to the required embedment depth.
4. Tighten the nut, or head, 3 to 5 turns past the hand-tight position.

Find the Flat Head Sleeve Anchors Collection

Our comprehensive flat head sleeve anchors collection features premium stainless steel and zinc plated options designed for demanding applications in solid base materials. Each self locking anchor utilizes a flexible compression ring that expands within the anchor hole to create secure connections. The head type flat countersunk design provides flush mounting, while the heavy duty sleeve style construction ensures reliable performance in concrete and masonry. Unlike wedge anchors, our sleeve anchors feature an internal bolt mechanism with hex key insert access for precise installation control. The innovative anchor sleeve making process creates connections where the cone remain locked permanently in the base material deep within the structure. Professional contractors prefer these anchors over standard options because the finished hex head allows for easy removal when needed. Whether installing in concrete foundations or structural applications, our flat head sleeve anchors deliver the holding power and reliability required for critical installations in various solid base materials.

FAQ

Flat head sleeve anchors secure fixtures to solid base materials like concrete and masonry. The head type flat countersunk design sits flush with surfaces, while the heavy duty sleeve style provides superior holding power. The self locking anchor mechanism uses a flexible compression ring that expands in the anchor hole for reliable connections.

Installation involves drilling the proper anchor hole diameter into the base material deep enough for full engagement. Insert the same anchor sleeve until the head type flat countersunk sits flush. Use a hex key insert to tighten the internal bolt, causing the flexible compression ring to expand and the cone remain locked securely.

Yes, stainless steel flat head sleeve anchors from Nutty nuts offer superior corrosion resistance compared to zinc plated alternatives. The self locking anchor design with finished hex head maintains performance in harsh environments. The heavy duty sleeve style construction and flexible compression ring resist environmental degradation better than standard wedge anchors in solid base materials.

Flat head sleeve anchors are available in various diameters to accommodate different anchor hole sizes and load requirements. Each same anchor sleeve features head type flat countersunk design with hex key insert compatibility. The heavy duty sleeve style comes in multiple lengths for different base material deep installations, ensuring proper engagement of the flexible compression ring.
