FAQ

Round bend or square bend?
Round bend U-bolts wrap around pipe, tubing and round bar. Square bend U-bolts have a flat top with two corners, so they fit square or rectangular posts, beams, tubing and lumber.

How is a square U-bolt measured?
A is the rod diameter and thread, C is the inside width between the legs, B is the inside length from the inside of the top to the end of the legs, and T is the thread length.

Which finish should I choose?
Zinc plated steel is good for indoor and dry or sheltered outdoor use. Hot-dip galvanized steel has a much thicker zinc coating for outdoor, wet and marine-area use. 18-8 stainless steel resists rust best and is the choice for wet, marine and food areas.
