What size metric washer do I need?
Match the washer to the bolt: an M8 washer fits an M8 bolt. The washer size is the bolt size it fits, not the hole size.

What is DIN 125?
DIN 125 is the standard metric flat washer. Form A has square edges; the hole is slightly larger than the bolt, for example 8.4mm for M8.
