A2 stainless steel metric square nuts in standard thickness (DIN 557, M5 to M12) and thin (DIN 562, M5 and M6). The flat sides won't turn in a slot or channel, and give more bearing area than a hex nut. Choose a thickness below.

FAQ
Standard or thin square nut?
Standard (DIN 557) nuts have more threads for full strength. Thin (DIN 562) nuts fit tight slots and shallow channels where a full nut won't fit.
Are metric and inch fasteners interchangeable?
No. Close sizes such as M6 and 1/4" or M10 and 3/8" have different diameters and thread pitches, and they will cross thread. Use metric nuts and washers with metric bolts and screws.
