Galvanized Timber Bolts

Timber Bolts have been designed to protect timber structures from the elements.  Rings under the head spread 1/4" apart to block water from entering the bolt hole.  The large head replaces the need for a Flat Washer and the low-profile dome head makes for a safer environment.

What Are Galvanized Timber Bolts

Galvanized timber bolts are specialized fasteners designed for heavy-duty wood-to-wood connections in outdoor construction and marine applications. These timber bolts feature a distinctive fender head that provides a large bearing surface to prevent the bolt from pulling through wood under load. Hot dip galvanized coating protects the underlying steel from corrosion, making galvanized timber fasteners ideal for decks, docks, and playground equipment.

Applications & Use Cases

Hot dipped galvanized steel timber bolts excel in demanding outdoor environments where moisture exposure would quickly corrode unprotected fasteners. Marine applications benefit from the superior corrosion resistance that galvanized timber provides, essential for dock construction and waterfront structures. Deck building, fence installation, and timber framing all utilize these bolts where strong, weather-resistant connections are required.
